Career coach claims candidates that get big offers always do these three things in interviews

These are three ways to make a good impression in your next job interview according to a career coach Kit Roberts When it comes to getting a job, there is a whole lot of advice out there, especially on what to do during interviews. There are plenty of things that people talk about, from how to dress to the etiquette surrounding Zoom interviews versus in person. A career coach has explained some of the things that you can do in a job interview to help make a good impression. This is how you can stand out from the crowd (Peter Cade / Getty) TikToker films intense penetration reaction It is probably worth noting that you will still need to be qualified for the job and have relevant skills and / or experience. However, given that you're at the interview in this fictional job hunt, let's assume that you are qualified for the role. For the sake of these being the deciding factor, let's also assume you are up against other people who have similar levels of experience and training to you, not that you'd know that of course. In other words - how this interview goes is even more important in deciding who gets the job. So what can you do to improve your chances? Katie McIntyre, a career coach who helps people in the tech industry with their work, has shared three ways that you can improve your chances in a job interview in a post on her LinkedIn page .

Here's how to increase your chances of being successful in a job interview (Westend61 / Getty)
The first of these is to give credit where it's due
This is less about not taking credit for things you did not do, and more talking about your previous mentors .
Describing people you have previously learned from shows that you're open to learning and growth in your new job, which would be a positive.
McIntyre explained: "What's understood is, part of what you're getting today is all of these lessons that I've already learned."
She noted how successful candidates talked about: Mentors they learned from
Metrics they measure (and why)
How they drive revenue for the business
Next is talking numbers
McIntyre explained how being able to create or drive revenue for the business is a key factor. But this does not have to be directly related to how much money you actually create.

It could be things like saving time, helping to foster a positive work environment , or finding more efficient ways to do things.
McIntyre said: "There's all these other metrics that aren't just revenue but directly tied to revenue."
The third piece of advice is to try and make the interview feel more like a conversation.
If you have a good flow or back and forth with the interviewers, then it shows you're quickly able to form a good working relationship with people.
Not only that, but if you get on with people quickly in the interviews it shows you'll be likely to get along with the team as well.
McIntyre also noted how successful candidates in the past have always asked intentional questions about the hiring manager, company, its culture, team, and goals.
Candidates who did not get job offers
To round it up, McIntyre revealed how the candidates who did not get an offer: Didn't ask questions throughout the call
Didn't talk about business outcomes
Didn't talk about metrics

For example, leave the room clean and tidy, try not to spill anything and be conscious of other guests. Obviously, it goes without saying that you shouldn't steal anything and it's always nice to leave a good review if you've enjoyed your stay. But now, one hotel worker has revealed a list of eight other things you absolutely should not do. "I work a front desk at a hotel and I'm gonna read off a list of things you should not do as someone who is coming to visit a hotel," the woman explained on TikTok . Turning up on the wrong date "Do not show up the day after your reservation, thinking that you're going to check in. It has gone into no-show and we no longer have that reservation," warned TikToker @mamafromarkansas . Booking third party

The TikToker also said that booking via third party could make it more difficult if the guest needs to change any details regarding their stay.
"Do not book third party, do not book with them ... we can not touch that reservation because you booked third party," she said.
Booking the wrong dates
If you book the wrong dates, the only person you have to blame is yourself.
"Do not get mad at an employee, because you booked the wrong dates for the reservation - it's not our fault and we send you a confirmation via email, so that's your fault for not double checking," she said.
Checking availability
The hotel worker explained that if there's no availability, there's no point in repeatedly asking.
She warned: "If you call, and ask if we have availability on a certain date, and we tell you no, please do not ask four more times ... I'm looking right at the screen and it's not giving me any inventory for those dates. "

Bringing kids
"Please do not bring your kids to an event and let them run a muck in the hotel and tear things up while you're at the bar getting drunk , "she added.
Leaving a bad review
When you have a bad experience at a hotel , it can be tempting to leave without explaining the problem, before writing a scathing review online.
But the hotel worker asked people not to do this.
"Please do not leave the hotel if you have issues and do not let us know and then leave and give us a bad review. You did not give us an opportunity to fix your issue," she said.
Checking availability
It's always worth making sure the hotel is suitable for your needs, before you book.
"Do not book a reservation at a hotel if you have not looked at what amenities the hotel has offered," she added.
Cancellation policy
The hotel worker warned people 'not to be that person' who thinks policies do not apply to them.
She warned: "Please do not be the person who thinks that policies do not apply to you.
" We have a 24 hour cancellation policy which means if you call the day of your reservation, you're gonna 'get charged the late cancellation fee. . . . . "

These are the genuinely bizarre things singers do to avoid getting sick while on tour

There are a lot of ways. that professional singers keep their voices going for the intense physical demands of a tour Kit Roberts Sometimes we all have to take a sick day from work, but what if Taylor Swift ? but the flipside is that if she has to cancel a date due to a particularly nasty cold, she could end up losing a lot of money. And for singers who aren't mega-stars like Swift , the financial hit is undoubtedly harder to take Vocal coach Elaine Overholt, who has trained pop stars such as Shawn Mendes, told CTV News: "A lot of singers are self-employed . So if they lose their voice for a day or two days or for a week, it means losing a lot of money. " So what sort of methods do singers use to look after their voice and stop themselves getting sick? And according to the Mirror, Adele spent a whopping $ 500k on cutting edge technology for her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace to ensure her pipes were in working order. A source said: “They've had complex systems installed before, but this one really is on another level. "The system works by combining dehumidifiers, purification units, water molecule dispersal and cooling fans in the preparation room and then guiding that air around the stage when she performs." Celine Dion apparently had a similar set-up. Though the singer has had to take a break from touring because of her health at the moment, Overholt says she's seen the plans of the Las Vegas theater she used to perform in. There were apparently humidifiers built into the stage to moisten the air throughout the show. Bear in mind most of us lose our voice after a few songs at karaoke, never mind a concert setlist. Keeping a score and holding grudges
Your relationship is not a competition, you're not trying to 'win', you're there for each other.
Not supporting your partner

This should be a no brainer but you need to be there for your partner, whether that means celebrating their achievements or helping them through difficult times.
Snooping
Yes, it might be tempting to go through someone's phone, but this is also a big breach of trust and disrespectful.
Becoming desensitised to someone
Relationships do change. You can not be in the honeymoon stage for years on end, that's not sustainable.
However, that does not mean that you should start taking them for granted.

Taking stabs at each other
This is a surefire way to make sure you can not even get through a conversation without someone being passive aggressive, not a good sign.
Comparing your partner
Whether it's to previous partners or anyone else, you should love and appreciate your partner for who they are.
Trying to change them
Tying back into the previous post, you should not try to mold someone into who you want them to be.
Love them for them.
Forget them
This might seem obvious. It is understandable that other things will come up in life, but you still need to make time for them
Bringing the past up
This is a big reg flag in an argument, as it shows that you are unwilling to forgive things, especially if it's something relatively small.
Ignoring or dismissing problems
Even the very best relationships run into challenges.
Ignoring or dismissing them won't solve them, it will just make them grow so it's even worse when they finally bubble over.Featured Image Credit: Urbazon / Tim Robberts / Getty Images

Taking to TikTok , the mom - who goes by the username @thatmoneymum - revealed that after making the changes, they are now luckily able to make ends meet.
In a post on the social media platform, she said: "It feels embarrassing to admit that six months ago on $ 140,000 a year, my husband and I were losing money."
The controversial post saw her claiming that the high cost of living in Australia at present means that AU $ 140k is 'not a high income in the current Australian economy'.
Speaking about her experience, she said: "We desperately needed to make a change for the sake of our family."
The mom went on to share some advice for anyone who is struggling with their finances, including how to save on their spending.
"The first thing is differentiating between wants and needs," the TikToker said. "Our generation has honestly been conditioned to buy as soon as that wants arises."
She explained with the example of a double-walled coffee cup which she had wanted to buy.
But she forced herself to wait and sinstead, bought the cups from an op shop.
She also shared that many factors impacted them, including saying that their mortgage went up by $ 800 a month, as well as the expenses that come with having children.

Spending was a big feature, with tracking spending being the 'biggest' piece of advice.
The mom said: "This changed the game ... this helped us realize where we were overspending and we realized food was a massive problem area for us."
As a result, the family changed their grocery shopping habits to more budget-friendly options.
"We shop at our local market and Aldi and Coles and Woolworths only if we're desperate," she said.
“The prices at Coles and Woolies are literally out of control. Washing powder at the Reject Shop is the same price that Woolworths has it at half off in terms of retail. ”Featured Image Credit: TikTok / thatmoneymum
