And it's actually a very well-established sport that draws in thousands of fans.

Armored MMA - officially called HMB which stands for Historical Medieval Battle according to a website dedicated to the sport - was established in 1995 in Eastern Europe and has since become a worldwide phenomenon.
The sport combines 'fencing techniques with Judo, Muay Thai, and other martial arts moves - all wearing a full suit of steel armor'.
Oh yeah, and there's weapons like blunted swords and spears. I mean, they have measures to make them safe to use, but it might still make you think twice before joining in.
Although it does not sound like the easiest sport to participate in, if the videos are anything to go by it's bloody entertaining to watch.
Not unlike the more widely known MMA, making it as a 'good fighter' in HMB requires some similar disciplines.
In order to be a good fighter their website states: "Regular training, patience and a willingness to learn.
" Leave your ego at the door, watch and listen carefully. "

Medieval MMA looks dangerous
Despite being around for nearly three decades, people could not believe what they were seeing, and if you did not know any better you'd think this was purely a reenactment for our entertainment.
One shocked person said: "S ** t looks more interesting than UFC just saying."
Another quipped: "I want to try this so bad !! TBH, please do not judge me."
A third tweeted : "I really want to do this, does it happen in the UK?"
A fourth person asked: "Where can I watch this?"
And actually, we have an answer to that one.
For those of you in or around Nashville, this seems to be where the Armored MMA scene really comes to life, with a tournament coming up in November at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
If you can not make the trip, there are plenty of YouTube channels dedicated to the sport that you can sink your teeth into.
In response to the savage Reddit video, one person said: "I mean that's more or less how it went historically, except when you got the guy down you jammed your dagger through the cutout in the helmet instead of just punching."
Others were less convinced, with one user saying: "They will call ANYTHING a sport."
Another bluntly put: "What the f ** k am I watching right now, it's like Black Mirror at this point."
Good question, considering the weapons that they use in the sport are no joke. The swords may be blunted but we bet you still would not want to be jabbed in the chest with one.

People are just discovering what a 'zorse' sounds like and it's blowing their minds

Many were outraged that crossbreeding was occuring Britt Jones A crossbreed is taking the internet by storm as people did not even realize they exist. Meet the zorse, a cross between a horse mare and a zebra stallion which brings you a beautiful hybrid. The Skydog Sanctuary on Instagram showed its rescue male zorse, called Pete, and people are loving him. Pete looks like your typical brown horse, except he has little stubby legs, a rather zebra-like face and those tell-tale stripes. He was taken from an exotic animal auction by the rescue and placed in a sanctuary with three other horse mares to roam freely under the supervision of people who care about his wellbeing. The rescue center that cares for Pete wrote a caption on their post, showing his distinctive stripes and 'neigh'. The caption said: “What a truly extraordinary sight - and sound. Janelle went out to get eyes on Pete the zorse and his mares and sent me this. ” Pete is a cross between a zebra and horse. Instagram / skydogsanctuary

They explained how they came to receive this odd mix, claiming that a friend 'saved from a horrible fate at an exotic livestock auction'.
The post continued: “She worked with him diligently to try to help him transition into domestic life and bring out the horse in him but in the end the zebra won out and he's happiest running free. His young mare Soleil was a mere filly when she came to us with an infected wound from the corrals but she's now blossomed into a powerful and strong mare with Strongheart and Hera as her mentors and guardians.
“Pete is extraordinary and it's amazing that he stuck with the same girls and took them to higher climbs the second the lower gate was opened. They have hundreds of wild acres up here and more to come, it's going to be a wild summer for them all. "
People under the post were shocked to realize that zorses were a real species and that people cross-bred the two animals on purpose.
They'd also never heard what one sounded like and were pleasantly surprised.
One person wrote: “Forgive my ignorance but I just can not fathom the cross breeding of a zebra & a horse. Thank goodness for Skydog! ”
Someone else commented: “What an extraordinarily gorgeous animal Pete is! The fantastic physique of the quarter and the lovely partial striping of a zebra. Its so wonderful that you have a place that this wild boy can thrive. ”
One person commented: "Ok, so I did it. Went to google what a zebra sounds like. Pete does not sound like a zebra exactly. He sounds exactly like what he is. A horse and zebra. His bray or neigh is a perfect Combination. Just like he is. It's abhorrent the way they are, but he is a beautiful being and I am so grateful he has the best place for him. "
A lot of questions were aimed at whether Pete could procreate and the conundrum that would present when he is surrounded by three mares, but he is sterile- like many hybrids .

Pete is sterile like most hybrid breeds. Instagram / skydogsanctuary
According to Just Horse Riders, it's common for cross-breeds to be unable to procreate.
The website claims: “It's like trying to charge your phone with a banana - interesting concept, but it's not going to work. This sterility is due to the different number of chromosomes in horses and zebras, making successful reproduction a rare event. ”
There are also some other differences between the zorse and a horse.
Even though Pete looks a lot like a horse, his temperament is all zebra.
According to the site, zorses 'inherit a strong temperament and can be a tad more spirited than your average horse' and are typically prone to aggression.

Fans have found the most 'cringe' line from Twilight movies and they can not believe it's real

There's no shortage of candidates Kit Roberts Whether you were an avid fan or couldn't stand them, no-one can deny that the Twilight movies contain some extremely cringy lines. In fairness, Twilight is far from alone when it comes to how cringy it actually is. There's some stiff competition, for example the iconic, 'I don't make love, I f * ck ... hard' from 50 Shades of Gray . And who can forget 300, with Leonidas 'reply to a Persian messenger who says' this is madness ', to which the rather shouty king responds:' Madness ?! THIS. IS. SPARTA ', before kicking him down a well in slow motion. So much for diplomatic immunity. But, while many movies can boast one cringy line, Twilight has become known for the sheer number of lines, which have audiences wincing from second-hand embarrassment. So what are our candidates? Well, we have to start off with a classic. Summit Entertainment Everyone's favorite sparkly vampire is taking Bella for a ride (no not like that, this series is a chastity metaphor remember?), And tells her: "You better hold on tight spider monkey", before using his vampire speed to shoot off. . It's certainly cringy, but is it the most cringy? How about when Mr Cullen is explaining to Bella how it feels to be a vampire around a human. He says: "You're like my own personal brand of heroin." Yeah that's pretty cringy alright. There's more though. In case there was any doubt about the chastity metaphor, this line clears things up when Edward says: "Stop trying to take your clothes off.It might be too late for my soul, but I will protect yours. "
God, that guy was just a whole parade's worth of red flags . For god's sake Anastasia, RUN!

Remember, sleeping with your long term partner means that morally speaking, you're basically a vampire.

For the sheer 'what the hell ?!' factor, one line does stick out, when Bella discovers the nickname for her child is Nessie, prompting her to rage: "YOU NICKNAMED MY DAUGHTER AFTER THE LOCH NESS MONSTER ?!" One person wrote: "My sister will still nostalgia watch these with me but theyre definitely not good." Another posted: "Everything about this is so cringy and then they had to double it with 50 Shades." But one line, according to fans on Reddit ,is the cringiest of them all.
These are all very strong contenders, but there is one line which sticks out for multiple reasons. It's not just the cringe of the line, but the fact that the more you think about it, the worse it gets.
People had some strong reactions online.
Fans have probably guessed it by now, but it is indeed: "Bella! Where the hell have you been, loca?"

People are just realizing the voice behind Scream's 'Ghostface' and can not believe it

People are only now figuring out what other role they recognize the Ghostface voice actor from Gerrard Kaonga If you thought the voice of Scream's 'Ghostface' sounded pretty familiar, there is probably a good reason for it. Scream is a massive franchise at this point and to some, it is certainly one of the best slasher films out there. But one of the aspects of the film that makes the many flicks so frightening is Ghostface, and for obvious reasons ... he is the one running around with a knife after all. But one thing that makes him truly terrifying is the voice. While many people have donned the Ghostface mask in the franchise, one thing that always sends chills down the spine is the menacing voice. The person that brings the character to life is Roger L. Jackson. Does the name not ring a bell? Trust me, you have likely enjoyed much of his work over the years. The star has been voicing characters in movies, cartoons and video games for decades. For the latter, he even occasionally voices the Ghostface character if they are in the game. But if you listen carefully, the reason he sounds familiar is because Jackson is also the man behind the iconic Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls. to remark at how they never noticed it was the same voice actor. "Literally did not know this, always assumed it was done by that voice device thingy," one user on X said, as another wrote: "I actually never heard of this one !!" If you listen to the many threats Ghostface makes throughout the Scream films, you can now hear the similarities.
Despite Jackson voicing both characters for years, many people have taken to social media

People are only just discovering real reason why Swiss cheese has holes in hit
While it completes the cheese's quirkiness, people have only just realized why Swiss cheese has holes in it. Callum Jones If like me you may have indulged in a fair bit of cheese over the Christmas period, you are probably experiencing a few withdrawal symptoms.Cheese paired with crackers is the perfect supplement after a tasty turkey dinner, even though you may still be incredibly full.
Whether that be cheddar or something a bit more fancy - I think all cheese lovers are aware that Swiss cheese has holes in it.

The distinctive design is what makes the cheese so special in a lot of peoples eyes, while also spotting it immediately during the weekly food shop.
But have you ever wondered why the Swiss cheese actually has holes in it?
Well, film and TV would tell us that is because of pesky mice taking little nibbles out of the cheese, which in turn would put people off in the supermarkets if they were thinking of purchasing.
However, that is far from the real truth as to why Swiss cheese has holes in it.
The real reason is actually a lot more scientific than you may think, something that will surprise a lot of cheese lovers.

The idea that bacteria is in some of our favorite cheeses may be a turn off to a lot of folks, but remember, not all bacteria is bad for us.
